In Saran district and many other nearby districts, orchestra operations are flourishing by colluding with the local administration. Because orchestra operators easily get minor girls for less money. After that, the operators not only make the minor girls work in orchestras but also force them into prostitution.
However, the police administration sometimes conducts raids. But the saying ‘Dhak ke teen pat’ holds true. But this time, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights took action and based on a secret information, conducted a raid with the help of Saran police and rescued half a dozen minor girls working in the orchestra. All the six girls were brought to Saran from different districts for dancing. During this, six minor girls were recovered from the residences of three different orchestra operators in Jalalpur police station area by conducting a joint raid with the local Jalalpur police station.
According to the local police, first three minor girls were recovered from Pooja Orchestra located in Dharan Bazaar. Along with this, the orchestra operator Anand Kumar has also been arrested. After that, a minor girl was recovered from Dhoom Orchestra located in Jalalpur Bazaar. After that, on his information, two minor girls were recovered from Masti Orchestra located on Jalalpur-Nagara Road. However, the orchestra operator managed to escape after seeing the police there.
FIR has been registered against both the orchestra operators arrested from the local police station area. Jalalpur police has taken this action with the help of NGO from Delhi. An orchestra operator Anand Kumar has been sent to jail after interrogation. Giving information in this case, Jalalpur SHO said that six minor girls have been rescued by raiding the places identified by the National Child Protection Unit. All the girls were brought to dance in the orchestra. All the girls were given medical examination in Chhapra Sadar Hospital. After that they will be kept in Balika Sudhar Griha. From where they will be handed over to their legal guardian.
